Outdoor Mounts are treated for immediate use and are thicker to ensure they don't warp in the elements. We recommend you restain the wood every 4/5 years
Unless you state otherwise, the plaque and wood are not sent attached together. This allows you to mount the wood on a wall and subsequently attach the plaque, thus hiding the holes (in the wood)
